Veteran strategic advisor and mentor Bede Boyle has been named to lead the Industrial Services Division for Business Drivers Ltd, announced CEO Peter Selby. The division focuses on maximising resilience and return on investment for manufacturing, processing, critical infrastructure, and industrial service enterprises.

Bede has over 25 years’ experience as a strategic advisor and mentor supporting executive clients in construction, defence, and manufacturing industries as they navigate highly stressful situations. He currently advises Hunter Defence Industry Task Force, the peak advocacy group for the Hunter regions, and publishes extensively on industrial business leadership and business turnaround management on well-known platforms like The New Industrialist.

“I’m excited to work with such a highly experienced executive team in industrial services,” said Bede. “Business Drivers understands how to handle adversity, having worked through some of the toughest spots in recent history, including the 1990s’ recession and the 2008-9 GFC.”

“The industry services division offers a bespoke combination of highly experienced people and proven methodologies,” said CEO Peter Selby. “We have extensive knowledge of complex contracts in the industrial manufacturing, service and critical infrastructure sectors, and combine it with proprietary systems. Bede will add another level of depth to our executive level advisory team.”

Mark Warner, Business Drivers’ Board Chairman, said: “Bede has a wealth of experience at the executive level and his appointment demonstrates our commitment to this industry sector. We look forward to leveraging his strengths to expand our historical focus on customer service.”
